Rev. Tim Sisk, the former pastor of St. Andrew's in
Amory, was gracious enough to pen this blessing for the
site. We thank him for leading us in prayer.
Our Gracious God,
who taught us that love and kindness
are works of your divinity, bless those that travel to this site,
who are inspired by the life and art
of John Dye, who discover a community of creativity
and kindness, may they be filled by your love,
leaving footprints of mercy, in their
communities and homes. May the grace, love, and fellowship of God be
with them all. Amen.
Prayer Requests:
Please pray for my son John, who
is 22 and has been in a downward spiral for a few
months now. He quit his job, spent all his
money he has saved, attempted suicide twice, one
time involving the police and citations,
misdemeanors, etc., which resulted in jail time
after his hospital stay. As he is an adult,
I have no control over his decisions in regards to
therapy and in-patient treatment. He is
taking medication to control his behavior, which
is either bi-polar or manic, and although it has
helped a little, it has rendered him incapable of
being alone without constant supervision. My
husband lost his job due to covid, so most of the
burden falls on him. It is tearing my family
apart. I pray that God will lay his loving
hands on my son and heal his brain, cast out all
mental illness and manic behavior and suicidal
thoughts. I pray our son will someday be the
son we used to have. Amen.
With much love, gratitude and thanks to this
amazing group, and my infinite love to John, our
Angel, who I absolutely adore and pray I will meet
in heaven. If love can transcend Heaven and
Earth, he surely knows I love him.
God Bless,
Linda
Chicago, IL
My fiancé was admitted to hospital
about one month ago with acute pneumonia.
A few weeks ago,his heart stopped and they were able
to bring him back with oxygen.
Day before Thanksgiving he was informed he needs
open heart surgery. They won't know how many
bypasses until they see the severity of the
blockages. He is scheduled for surgery
tomorrow Dec. 14th. Surgery can be from 3-6
hours.
We are both Christians, praying for the doctors,
team and instruments. For his family, that all
will feel God's mantle of peace and wellness.
I am in California and he is in Montana.
Praying I can join him before the New Year.
Blessings
J.T.
We pray that this holiday season is a peaceful,
healing, and love-filled one. With all the
strife in the world, may we all be inspired to do what
we can to promote kindness, compassion, and
understanding. May God's merciful and unfailing
love be our support and strength.
Please pray for all of those suffering during the Ebola
outbreak, both those with the disease and those who are
being kept from general medical care due to staffing and
space shortages. May God guide the hands and minds
of the doctors, nurses, and loved ones caring for the
patients and may He lead the researchers to a much
needed cure.

Please pray for my
children. My
daughter Monica is
being very
seriously effected
by her brain
tumor! Our son
Shawn and Monica
are both very
stressed out and
tired. My husband
is very tense and
finds it hard to
relax..I try not
to worry but it
really gets the
best of me many
times.
Update:
Please continue
to Pray for my
Son and His
Wife.
Yesterday was
difficult
although it was
a true blessing
to get together
for a Birthday
Dinner for my
Husband.
Our son was in
enormous pain
before he left
here last
evening.
I
have a prayer
request this
morning. My
friend's
husband is
having signs
of dementia.
Very hard on
the family and
of course him.
It is very
hard to lose
the memories
and not be
able to
communicate
with friends
and his loved
ones. his name
is Phil. Thank
you!
I would like
to request
prayer for the
son of a very
dear friend of
mine. He has
an injury from
participating
in a Pike Bike
competition
recently. He
has worked
very hard to
achieve a high
standing in
this field. He
has achieved
so much and it
will be very
difficult so
manage his
injuries. Of
course his Mom
is trying to
cope with her
son's need to
take time to
heal and
receive proper
medical care.
Please pray
that he will
be able to
heal and get
back into the
competition.
He has worked
very hard and
he is still
young and
anxious to
return to the
sport that he
loves so very
much!
Also, my
Cousins son
had a
construction
accident and
received a
very serious
head injury.
he is unable
to work, and
had many
restrictions
in place to
keep him from
further
damage. He
will defiantly
not be able to
work, drive
and so on. I
know that the
accident
almost cost
him his life
as they had to
medically
induce a coma
to save his
life. I know
that his
family would
very much
appreciate
your prayers!
From Cindy:
I had a great Spring
Break with my
family. We traveled
together to attend
a competition

had a great
experience and we
saw some new sights.

around!

to get my house in
order!
We will be making
bracelets.
I pray the guests
will be blessed!
Thanks for your
prayers!
God is Good.
Update:
Thank you for your
prayers.
My friend Kerri
and I had a
wonderful time
with my friends
last Thursday. I
made a beautiful
bracelet of
Picasso jasper, a
beautiful black
lava stone in the
center also some
aqua marine
stones. I had to
get more
instructions the
next morning
because I felt
that my design was
not all that
appealing. It was
wonderful that she
was able to stay
overnight at our
home and helped me
design it myself
with her
suggestions. I
learned so much! I
would like to
start beading if
possible: as a
hobby very good
for stimulating
the mind. Now I
need to pray that
I will be able to
see all the beauty
in the stones so
as to create
something and have
fun at the same
time. My eyes are
getting older but
they are still
healthy and that
is wonderful. All
I need is a new
pair of glasses.
I do believe she
was and continues
to be blessed. She
was able to see
her grandson his
1st birthday. They
celebrated on
Easter Sunday!
From Joy:

worse as time goes on. I
ask for prayers for both
my friend and her grandma.
Her grandma because I
can't imagine how hard it
must be to be so confused
all the time, and for my
friend because she's one
of the primary caregivers
and she lives with her. It
must be so hard to have to
sit there and watch your
grandma forget things and
be so confused! Thank you.

My father-in-law needs all the
prayers he can get. I wish I
could tell him about you and I
wish I could give him some of
my faith to god. We visited
him today and it's hard to see
him so afraid and angry
because he is in pain and he
will die. And my mother-in-law
is also afraid he could loose
him soon and angry, because
she feels locked up in her
appartment. But one good news,
I got my results from the
biopsy, I don't have skin
cancer. But a few days later
they found something on the
skin of my older daughter.
It's been removed on friday
and now we do what we can do
the best...waiting

together, exploring the wonder of heaven together.

Today I'm
coming to you with a prayer request. My
father-in-law has cancer for the third time. He had
his operation and he could get better, but he seems
to not find the strength to do so. He is hopeless
and mean to people who loves him, especially my
mother-in-law. So it would be nice if you could take
both of them into your prayers. Thanks.
From Elisa:

yesterday with a high temperature and unexplained rash.

Caleb is
continuing to improve. He still has the rash,
however, so continue to keep him in your prayers.
Caleb is now fully recovered, thank you for your
prayers.
From Tiffany:
A couple that I've known for awhile, who are still
relatively young (in their 60s), have been really going
through some trials, the wife has had Alzheimers now for
about 5 years. It's progressed very quickly and they now
only give her weeks to live. The husband has been a pillar
of strength and continues to care for her alone, still
even bringing her to church every Sunday. A few days ago
he was pushing her in a wheelchair through their home and
something caught the wheel. The sudden stop threw her
forward and out onto the floor. She had to have stitches
and looks very bad. He is already having much difficulty
in facing the fact that she could pass any day but now he
is riddled with guilt on top of that. Please keep them
both, Gary and Laura, in your prayers.
From
Bonnie:

was observed in both countries. Tonight I will light
a candle for the victims.

that were just about wiped out. These people
really need our prayers right now.
I have donated to an aid organization and if anyone
is so inclined would encourage them to do so.

past 4 years. I have been following

As we prepare to
celebrate Christmas, can we all remember those families who
grieve for loved ones no longer with us. I think especially
of Karen and her two young sons as they deal with the second
anniversary of the loss of their husband and father Marcel
on 26th December. Please hold the Dye family in your prayers
too as they face their first Christmas without John. Lets us
also remember the men and women of our Armed Forces who must
spend this festive season away from their families and
homes.

From

Joyce is
undergoing in-hosptial
physical therapy now, then
will move to an assisted
living community until she has
healed.
My
cousin, Joyce, fell off the stage
at her Church yesterday while
decorating a Christmas tree. She
is in Winter Haven Hospital in
Florida where she lives. She has
shattered her knee, leg and elbow
all on her left side. She will
have surgery around 5pm today. The
surgery will be extensive. Around 5
to 6 hours. She will have a long
recovery of 3 months or so. Please
keep her and her family in your
prayers.
From
Tracey: As we approach the Thanksgiving holidays,
please keep in your prayers all those families who will be
missing loved ones at this time.
From Kimberly:
For my husband's
father, Allen, who recently had a cancerous mass
removed. Though they believe they got it all, they
want to do chemo but Allen has lost 24 pounds since surgery
and they won't do chemo unless he puts some weight on.
My husband's brother,
Gareth, who is diabetic and has been battling a foot
ulcer. They are contemplating amputation.
For my sister in law,
Gina, who is trying to care for both of them and work.
My husband's family lives in England and we are in the
States.
A local pastor
committed suicide this past week. Please pray
for his wife, Lisa and young daughters, Christina and Betsy
as well as for the congregation of Trinity Lutheran Church
And finally, my
friend Deyse will be undergoing back surgery in a few
weeks. She has been in a lot of pain and is very
nervous about the surgery. Please pray God's peace
upon her.

We would welcome your
prayers and thanks for the safe arrival of Tracey's Great
Nephew who came into the world at 5.27am this morning. As yet
unnamed, he is a brother to Evie Rose and first grandson for
my brother Ian. Congratulations to his mommy and daddy, Laura
and Jason. Please keep the family in your prayers.
From LouAnn:
Update:
Patrick is suffering from too much fluid around his lungs
and heart. Was admitted to the hospital over
Thanksgiving weekend due to pain in his chest. They
were able to draw off the fluid and relieve the pain but
that was just treating the symptoms. Please pray
that his kidney doctor can adjust his dialysis so that
this problem is eliminated in the future.
My husband is waiting for a kidney transplant. We have
had several surgeries this year several infections in
different port sites for his dialysis. Some congestive heart
failure due to the clinic not pulling enough fluid off him.
New port site put in getting ready to start home dialysis
again but only this time Hemo-Dialysis which they have
recently started to let patients do at home it tends to be
less stress on the body and do it 6 days a week instead of
just 3 days which means on weekends really have to watch
how much fluid he takes in and having a hard time controlling
his potassium level. Our youngest daughter was expecting but
about 3 1/2 weeks ago lost the baby but she and her husband
are doing well with this along with us. Believe it or not my
precious grandson turns 3 years old. Enjoy having the other
grandkids around. It is never a dull moment when they are all
here.
From
Jenni:
Please pray for Shelby
and her family as she begins cancer treatment. She's the
daughter of one of my mom's co-workers. Thank you.
We at the Pay It Forward in Memory of
John Dye site pray that God's protection and love
surrounds those serving their country and defending
freedom. May they and their families know how much their
sacrifices are appreciated.
"He will cover you with his
feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his
faithfulness will be your shield and rampart." ~~Psalm
91:4, NIV

so many problems with anxiety and panic disorders. Pray that

childhood who is struggling with stage 4 cancer. She is
fighting so hard and I pray she will find healing and peace.
From Cindy: Update:
PET scan shows Cindy's dad is in Full Remission
from the cancer! He will have one more chemo
treatment after Christmas and continue to be monitored
throughout the next year.
Pray that the chemo works for my dad and he is able to go
into remission for Mantle Cell Lymphoma. Cancer has
affected so many members of our family-my mom's and my

place. Thank you all for the prayers!

all who knew and loved John. May we always
exemplify his spirit of giving and sharing the message
of God's love.
